Our Canadian based client is seeking an experienced Senior Geotechnical / Geological engineer for their office in Santiago, Chile. The ideal candidate will have a strong academic background, with 10+ years-relevant work experience in high-level geotechnical projects ranging from slope stability to hard rock and geotechnical mining solutions.

You will need to have the ability to manage multi-disciplined project teams working in remote and challenging environments. Operational and site based experience is desired and you will be required to spend time away from the office carrying out site visits.

Candidates shall possess a post-graduate degree in geotechnical engineering as well as an advanced understanding of geotechnical engineering, engineering geology and rock mechanics.

A track record in leadership and client interaction will be desired whilst clear and comprehensive communication skills, are essential. Foreign language skills, particularly Spanish, are a definite asset and those with a fluent understanding will be of great interest.
